Thanks, all. My eyes are still pretty ietirnsteng: I've been diagnosed with posterior vitreous detachment, which means that the jelly in my eyes (lovely!) is clumping up and peeling off the membrane which separates it from my retina. It's a bit better today, but reading is still difficult so forgive my typos. It might continue to deteriorate, or it might just stop here and not bother me again. I have been warned not to take part in any boxing matches or bunjee jumps ever again (so that's my plans for the weekend scuppered), but apart from that it's business as usual.Now all I need is for Fujitsu Siemens to sort my ******** computer out and I'll be back to full strength, once I've finished this particular book which is fascinating but intense. After that, I'll be back working on the Paradox Cloud (novel number 4), while writing two non-fic proposals I've been brewing since the summer one of which is very personal, and I have high hopes for it.
